Sam Clarke
Sam is a chartered accountant with 40 years’ experience in professional services. Over two decades Sam built up and ran a successful mid-sized accountancy practice, which earned a reputation for its high-performing finance teams and its loyal and passionate staff. Since leaving practice in 2022, Sam has taken up several roles with different companies as a strategic business consultant and non-executive director. Now he brings this insight along with his accountancy expertise to Hobson Hill.
DIRECTOR, SOLICITOR
Anthony Julius
Anthony is a solicitor. He has had a distinguished legal career at the international law firm Mishcon de Reya. He was head of the firm’s Litigation Department for 10 years and is now the firm’s Deputy Chairman. He is also a professor in the Faculty of Laws at UCL. He has held various other senior positions, including co-founder and first Chairman of the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund.

Ramona Mehta
Ramona is a solicitor. Her career in professional services began at Mishcon de Reya. Between 2005 – 2018 she was a Partner in Mishcon Private and Head of its Reputation Group, where she acted for high-net worth clients and their businesses. As a specialist commercial litigator Ramona regularly advised on urgent matters involving breach of privacy or defamation. Ramona founded Moor Strategy in 2018, a multi-family office for Ultra High Net Worth families. Her experience in dispute resolution – the deft handling of complex matters, the ability to find solutions in deeply personal situations, add enormous value to the Hobson Hill offering. Ramona sits on the board of various companies.
SENIOR PROPERTY MANAGER
Dominic George
Dominic is a Property Manager with a degree in Architectural Design. He has over 14 years’ experience working with UHNW clients, their family offices, trusts and wealth advisers in London and internationally. His work spans block management of residential buildings, tenancy management and the operational management of UHNW private households, including maintenance, staffing, recruitment and training. Technically minded, Dominic has a thorough understanding of the infrastructure required to run complex homes, alongside the ever-evolving demands of legislative and regulatory compliance.

Madeleine Howells
Madeleine is one of our Property Managers and brings a decade of experience working for ultra-high-net worth clients. She began her career as a property manager working with a range of UNHWs and family office clients before working within private households for clients direct in Property Manager and PA roles. As such, Madeleine possesses the technical know-how to manage complex, multi-residence portfolios whilst delivering a seamless and personable client experience. Her background has honed a sharp eye for detail, discretion, and understanding of the expectations and standards required when managing properties.

Rachael Pollock
Rachael is a solicitor. Her career in professional services embraces legal practitioner, lecturer, coach and mentor. She trained and qualified at Clifford Chance before moving to Mishcon de Reya as a commercial litigator in 2001, where she worked with two of Hobson Hill’s founders, Anthony Julius and Ramona Mehta. In 2006 she took up a role as Lecturer at the University of Law where she has taught ever since, preparing nearly two decades’ worth of students to enter the legal profession with both attention to detail and commercial awareness. Rachael has taught a wide range of essential subjects (including commercial law, commercial dispute resolution, drafting and negotiation).
PROPERTY MANAGER
Isabel Cooper
Isabel holds a First-Class degree in Law, has completed the Legal Practice Course and spent three years as a paralegal before joining Hobson Hill. As Property Manager, she draws on her strong legal and organisational background to oversee the day-to-day running of properties. Skilled in negotiation and guided by high ethical standards, Isabel builds trusted relationships with clients and ensures every matter is handled professionally and with care.
